And how, Kamala?
In an incredible act of betrayal, the Vice President of the United States is now undermining Joe Biden’s support for Israel in its war against Hamas.
Poor old Joe has a full-blown rebellion on his hands.
On Thursday evening, dozens of masked White House staffers stood outside the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, demanding an “immediate ceasefire” from Israel.
“We are shocked by the complete resumption of killings, displacement and bombings of Palestinian civilians in Gaza,” the protesting bureaucrats wrote in their letter.
Funnily enough, though, they didn’t mention which side broke the peace in the first place.
Hint: it wasn’t Israel.
Now, Vice President Harris has reportedly “told colleagues in the administration that she wants the White House to publicly show more concern about the humanitarian damage in Gaza.”
And if that wasn’t enough, Harris reportedly referred to the president as someone who could “show more sensitivity to Palestinian citizens.”
She might as well have pushed him down the stairs of Air Force One.
And how, Kamala? In an incredible act of betrayal, the Vice President of the United States is now undermining Joe Biden’s support for Israel in its war against Hamas.
On Thursday evening, dozens of masked White House staffers (above) stood outside the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue demanding an “immediate ceasefire” from Israel.
As Biden faces a far-left uprising over his support of the world’s only Jewish state, his own vice president has taken her position on the barricades.
Is this a political ploy as Kamala feels the heat from her woefully uninformed anti-Israel base and prepares for the possibility that Biden cannot finish the 2024 campaign?
If so, it stands to reason that she would provoke a full-blown bureaucratic revolt.
But this mutiny is not only embarrassing and politically damaging to the president, it is also deeply inappropriate and destabilizing for the country.
Thursday night’s outrage followed an open letter last month from 500 of Biden’s political appointees, representing 40 agencies (including the National Security Council, FBI and DOJ), that raised the same pro-Hamas talking points.
But these whiny paper pushers are not freedom-fighting vigilantes. They are privileged punks who need to be kicked out of their jobs.
The United States is a representative democracy. We elect our leaders to set policy. Acting in defiance of this tradition fits squarely with the authoritarian terrorists they simply support.
Even White House interns are participating. They respect Biden’s authority to determine US foreign policy so little that 40 of them signed a screed last week making similar demands for a ceasefire.
Is anyone else concerned that social media zombies have infiltrated our government buildings and feel empowered to dictate strategy to the commander in chief?
Legislative staffers have taken matters into their own hands.
As Biden faces a far-left uprising over his support of the world’s only Jewish state, his own vice president has taken her position on the barricades.
On Capitol Hill, hundreds of people lent their names to a ceasefire demand in October.
On November 8, more than a hundred members of Congress left their jobs.
They demanded that Israel relent in their offensive, but said little about the terrorists who brutally attacked civilians, cut off the breasts of raped and murdered women, and took defenseless elderly and children hostage.
This week, an aide turned to Jewish Ohio Congressman Max Miller and said to his face, “Free Palestine!” while speaking to a reporter.
Miller said the staffer was “shaking” as he confronted the congressman-elect.
At this point it’s fair to wonder how deeply the US government has been infiltrated by Hamas sympathizers and blatant anti-Semites (who work for Democratic politicians, by the way).
Look, if government employees want to support Hamas in this conflict, fine (well, not fine, but everyone has the right to be stupid). If they want to express that point of view at an internal meeting, that’s just plain chic.
But when you work for an elected president of the United States, you sign to support this agenda.
When decisions are made, you remain silent and you execute. Government jobs are not paychecks to fund your activism.
How could Biden tolerate such disrespect?
Firework. Them. All.
Biden could have seen Thursday’s insurrection from his upstairs window in the White House.
More than 100 congressional staffers (above) left their jobs on November 8.
Make no mistake, this was the opening salvo for Harris 2024. Take care, Joe. Your wounded and these trainees can be brutal.
If he had, he would have had to call the Secret Service guard cabin and revoke their coveted White House pass right then and there.
We’re sending you effects, folks.
Don’t bother coming back.
While he was doing so, Biden should have fired the White House chief of staff and the chief of presidential staff for allowing such disloyal staff on his payroll.
Send them packing.
Publish their names.
Make sure they are not given positions of privilege and responsibility in any future government.
But what should happen to Vice President Harris? How can Biden tolerate such disloyalty as his presidency crumbles in poll after poll?
Nothing will come back from this for Biden-Harris.
How does she stand next to him on stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August and say, “I trust Joe Biden to lead this nation!”
Make no mistake, this was the opening salvo for Harris 2024.
Be careful, Joe.
Your wounded and these trainees can be brutal.
